Covid Vaccination Status

Individuals in England who have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine can now get proof of their vaccination details and demonstrate their COVID-19 status for international travel using the NHS COVID Pass.

There are 3 options to demonstrate COVID-19 status: via the NHS App (if you have full access to the App and are registered at a GP surgery), through NHS.UK and by letter from the 119 telephone service.

Currently only vaccines delivered in the UK can be accepted as evidence for UK COVID certification/ the NHS COVID Pass and that the NHS is working on a solution.

Covid-19 Vaccines

We urge everyone eligible who has not yet had their first vaccine to book on the national booking system or by calling 119.

If you have had your first vaccine, please make sure you have your second vaccine dose to ensure maximun protection.

If you have specific concerns about taking the vaccine and would like to talk to a health professional please contact your GP.

There is comprehensive information, guidance and answers to questions, including vaccination on who is currently eligible, information for pregnant women, front line health and social care staff and carers here.

You can also find information on the vaccine, including local case studies, on the Waltham Forest Council website here.

Appointments

Most appointment consultations are over the phone and via video link. This is for everybodys safety. We will assess your situation and invite you into the practice if needed.

If you are invited to physical appointment at the surgery, it is important that you follow  the procedure below. This is to minimise risk and ensure the safety of patients and staff.

1) Check that your household have had NO flu/cough/loss of taste and smell disturbance symptoms.

2) Wear a face mask or face covering over your mouth and nose.

3) Only the patient who is booked to see the medical practitioner attends the appointment. If the appointment is for a baby/child only one parent accompanies them.

4) Wait outside until you are called in by a member of staff.

5) Bring an umbrella.

6) Please note there is NO toilet access on site.
